Ashton’s seven years of experience in merchandising has spread across different product categories. She graduated from the College of Textiles at North Carolina State University, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Textile Management from the Brand Management and Marketing program.
After graduating, Ashton began her career as an assistant merchandise manager with Carter’s International Division. She later joined Cortland in 2017 as a merchandising and marketing manager for CASK Industries, Cortland’s in-house product manufacturer, and recently shifted to developing a line of furniture that Cortland Design plans to rent and sell to residents. Ashton has a strong work ethic and loves to collaborate with her sourcing, design, and development partners.
