Shihan Xu joined Cortland in 2022 as a Design Assistant, based in Phoenix, Arizona. During her career in the design, real estate and the art industry, she has worked on various project types including workplace, hospitality, and residential. Shihan achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Arizona State University and Master of Fine Art from San Francisco Art Institute.
Prior to joining Cortland, Shihan was with DeLeon Realty in Palo Alto and was responsible for managing all aspects of a million-dollar residential property sales. Her work included identifying value adds, overseeing all phases of home preparation, renovation, and remodeling to increase ROI for homeowners. She gained previous experience at Interior Solutions where she worked on design for workplaces and was responsible for spatial configurations, inventory management, and installation of custom fabrications for commercial offices.
Shihan not only has a passion for interior design, but also painting and creating clay sculptures.
