Jene has 10 plus years’ experience in different areas of Accounting & Operations: Hospitality, Realty, and Construction. She started her accounting career with Marriott and enjoyed working there for 7 years. Later moved on to work with great companies such as Homebridge Financial and Thyssenkrupp. Jene joined the Cortland family in 2019 in the Accounting Dept, later in the Payroll Dept. Jene was beyond excited to learn Cortland had a design team and was ecstatic when she had the opportunity to join them. As a Procurement Analyst she focuses on building relationships with vendors and being a great liaison for the design team ensuring the purchasing and billing process is accurate. When Jene is not working creating a seamless procurement process, she enjoys spending time with her family and miniature poodle, Kingston.
